The UK Maritime Trade Operations Office (UKMTO) has received reports of two explosions near a merchant ship roughly 150 kilometers south of Aden, the interim capital of Yemen.
According to the reports, two explosions were heard in the vicinity. Fortunately, the ship and its crew are unharmed and are proceeding with their journey. An investigation into the incident has been initiated, with suspicions pointing towards the involvement of the Houthis. No further details have been disclosed at this time.
