Yahya Saria, Yemen's Houthi spokesman, announced that three ships were attacked in the Indian Ocean and Red Sea for "violating the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine."
The Houthis claim that the strikes targeted the commercial ships Larego Desert, MSC Michela, and Minerva Lisa in the Red Sea. They consider the MSC Michela to be an Israeli vessel.
Additionally, Yemeni rebels assert that they attacked two U.S. Navy destroyers with drones in the Red Sea. "Our air force conducted devastating operations against two American destroyers in the Red Sea. Both operations achieved their objectives," the statement said.
