On Monday, June 3, funerals are being held in Sanaa for militants killed a few days earlier by strikes from the US and UK armed forces targeting sites in Yemen.
It was reported that on the evening of May 30, US and UK forces conducted strikes on 13 Houthi targets across Yemen in response to a recent wave of Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. According to Yemeni sources, 16 people were killed and about 40 were injured.
On the day of the funerals, the Houthis launched an attack on Israel, firing a missile toward Eilat, which was intercepted by the long-range Arrow air defense system.
