A senior Hamas official told Al-Mayadeen that the group does not intend to send a delegation to Cairo because it finds the offer made to Hamas by the mediators unacceptable.
“We do not want to return to the starting point and demand that Israel submit written consent to the last proposal. If this does not happen, we will not return to negotiations,” the channel quotes a representative of the terrorist group.
“The United States and other mediators demand that we agree to their proposals first, even before Israel’s consent is received. For us, this state of affairs is unacceptable,” the publication’s speaker said.
