The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Beirut has issued a statement urging citizens of the kingdom to leave Lebanon immediately.
Several Western and Arab countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Kuwait, have previously made similar appeals.
According to the SPA agency, the call is due to the evolving situation in southern Lebanon. The statement also reminds that Saudi authorities had previously banned their citizens from traveling to Lebanon.
