Iraqi Shiite groups aligned with Iran have declared readiness to engage in battle with Israel and the United States should a full-scale war erupt between Israel and Hezbollah.
A senior field commander of the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" stated that their militants are prepared to escalate if tensions rise further, adding that his group has deployed specialists and advisers to Lebanon.
It's worth noting that Iraqi militants have claimed responsibility for attacks on Israel in the past, although these claims have often not been substantiated.
