Saudi Arabia, Jordan dropped 30 tons of food into Gaza Strip
Saudi Arabia and Jordan have conducted a joint operation to deliver 30 tons of ready-to-eat food to the Gaza Strip. The food was air-dropped by the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
"This is a necessary measure to circumvent the Israeli blockade of the Strip," said Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of the international aid agency KSrelief. He called on Israel to open the border crossings into Gaza.
The official stated that since the start of the military actions in the Gaza Strip, the kingdom has sent 54 planes and eight ships with humanitarian aid.
