Lebanon: Al-Jamaa al-Islamiya commander killed in airstrike
Lebanese sources reported that an airstrike targeted a car in the Sunni village of Gaza, located in eastern Lebanon's Beqaa region, killing Abu Mahmoud Jabara, the commander of the militant organization "Al-Jamaa al-Islamiya."
Media outlets linked to Hezbollah claimed that an Israeli drone carried out the attack.
The leadership of Al-Jamaa al-Islamiya confirmed Abu Mahmoud Jabara's death officially.
The IDF has not commented on these reports.
Al-Jamaa al-Islamiya, along with Hezbollah and Hamas, is involved in the conflict against Israel.
