Al-Masirah reports six killed in Israeli airstrikes on Hudaydah

On the afternoon of July 21, the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV reported that Israeli strikes on targets in Yemen's Hodeida region killed six people (up from an earlier report of three) and injured more than 80. Three people remain missing, and the death toll may rise.

The attack targeted a seaport in the Yemeni city of Hodeidah, where explosions, fire, and thick smoke were reported. Al-Masirah TV stated that the primary target was a fuel storage facility at the port, and a power plant in Hodeidah was also hit.

The Houthi government announced that power had been restored following the IDF attack on the morning of July 21. They acknowledged significant but not critical damage.

The IDF confirmed that its fighter jets struck Houthi military targets at the Hodeida seaport, citing the attack as a response to hundreds of recent Houthi attacks on Israel.
