On the night of July 21, Al-Masirah TV, run by Yemen's Houthi movement, reported that Israeli airstrikes on targets in the Hodeidah area of Yemen resulted in three deaths and 87 injuries.

The port city of Hodeida in Yemen was attacked, with explosions heard and fire and thick smoke visible. Al-Masirah TV stated that the attack targeted a fuel storage facility in the port. It was also reported that a power station in Hodeidah was struck.

On the morning of July 21, the Yemeni Houthi government's Ministry of Energy announced that the electricity supply had been restored following the IDF attack.

The Houthi government acknowledged significant, but not critical, damage.

The IDF confirmed that Israeli Air Force jets attacked Houthi military targets in the Hodeidah seaport, emphasizing that "the attack is a response to the hundreds of attacks on Israel carried out by the Houthis in recent months."
