The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reports that Hezbollah is evacuating its facilities south of Damascus, in Quneitra, and Qalamoun in anticipation of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) strikes.
Reuters also reported that Hezbollah is evacuating its bases and camps in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley. This information comes from an anonymous U.S. administration official involved with Lebanon, who stated that the main objective for the Americans is to prevent a full-scale war between Israel and Hezbollah.
On July 27, a rocket fired by Hezbollah militants exploded on a soccer field in the Druze town of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, killing 12 children.
