Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib told Saudi Arabia's Al-Hadath TV that only an international commission could determine who was responsible for the missile strike on Majdal Shams.
He reiterated that the Lebanese government condemns the killing of civilians by anyone.
Habib stated that the US does not want a war between Lebanon and Israel, as it would affect the entire region.
He also said that Hezbollah is ready to retreat beyond the Litani River if Israel stops its violations.
