The Lebanese NTV channel reported that the attempt to assassinate Hezbollah's military adviser, Fuad Shukr (Al-Haj Muhsin), failed. According to NTV, Shukr left the building just minutes before the attack.
Saudi Arabian channel Al-Arabiya and Reuters, citing Lebanese sources, also confirmed that the assassination attempt was unsuccessful.
