Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking in Ankara, labeled the Gaza Strip as "the world's largest extermination camp" and accused Israel of committing atrocities worse than those of Hitler. Anadolu news agency reported his remarks, in which he condemned Israel's actions as aggressive, murderous, and akin to terrorism.

Erdogan criticized Israel for ensuring its security through "mass murder and land grabbing," and called for global intervention to stop what he described as genocide and barbaric atrocities. He urged those influencing the Israeli government to act quickly to prevent further disaster.

On July 28, Erdogan had previously threatened to send Turkish troops into Israel, drawing parallels to Turkey's military actions in Karabakh and Libya. In response, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz reminded Erdogan of the fate of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
