The Chairman of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas condemned the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, describing it as a cowardly murder and a dangerous escalation.
"Our people must unite, show patience, and resilience in the face of Israeli occupation," he said.
