Special op-s in Judea and Samaria: 14 detained, 3 terrorists eliminated, 1 soldier wounded
On February 27, the IDF, along with the Shin Bet security service and Border Police, detained 14 suspects involved in terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria. The Shin Bet investigators will interrogate the detainees.
The IDF confirms that in the al-Faraa refugee camp, south of Tubas, Israeli soldiers killed Ahmed Jamal Daraghmeh, commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad-affiliated Tubas Battalion terrorist group, along with two other militants. The Duvdevan Special Forces unit carried out the operation to eliminate the terrorists. Suspects involved in terrorism were also apprehended.
During the operation in the Tubas area, one soldier was lightly wounded.
In addition, three suspects were detained in Shechem. Weapons (Carl Gustaf submachine guns) and homemade explosive devices were confiscated.
In Hebron, five suspects were detained, and one in Yatta.
Since the beginning of the conflict on October 7, 2023, over 3250 terrorism suspects have been arrested in the Palestinian Authority territory, with over 1350 of them linked to the Hamas terrorist organization.
