Early Monday morning, March 4, several dozen Breslov Hasidic Jews in minibusses entered the West Bank city of Nablus overnight to visit Joseph's Tomb without prior coordination with the Israel Defense Forces and were fired upon by gunmen.
The incident occurred during an operation conducted by the IDF in Nablus, accompanied by an active exchange of fire between Israeli soldiers and militants operating in the city.
All those who entered the tomb were evacuated to a safe location. Several Israelis were handed over to the police and arrested.
