Countries within the European Union have unanimously decided to impose sanctions on Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza.
These sanctions involve freezing his assets and prohibiting him from accessing banking resources across Europe. This action comes 100 days after the events of Black Saturday on October 7.
It's important to note that the European Union designated Hamas as a terrorist organization in 2003, and despite several trials, this designation has persisted.
Yahya Sinwar, along with four of his closest associates in the Gaza Strip, played a key role in planning and making decisions related to the Hamas attack on Israel. This attack was marked by massacres and led to the war in Gaza today.
