EU sanctions six Arab citizens for financing Hamas
The European Union is imposing sanctions against six individuals involved in financing the terrorist organization Hamas. All six individuals are citizens of Arab and African countries.
Yesterday, EU member countries agreed to impose sanctions against Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in Gaza. His assets will be frozen, and he will be banned from accessing banking resources in Europe. This decision comes 100 days after the events of Black Saturday on October 7.
Hamas was designated as a terrorist organization by the European Union in 2003, and despite several trials, it has retained this status.
