Three Israelis allege assault for speaking Hebrew in London

Three Israelis, including two males and a female, claim to have been assaulted in London's Leicester Square. The victims reported that the attackers chanted "Free Palestine!"

According to Mako News, one of the Israelis wore a kippah but removed it in the crowded area to avoid drawing attention. However, this did not prevent the attack.

The young people recounted that three individuals approached them upon hearing them speak Hebrew and asked if they were Jewish. Subsequently, they began harassing and throwing bottles at them, attracting a crowd.

One of the Israeli youths stated that the assailants followed them, with their numbers growing as more people joined in. They were punched and shoved, though they clarified that the attacks did not draw blood.

The young woman mentioned attempting to reason with the attackers thinking they would never touch a woman, but she was mistaken.

The Israelis managed to escape and sought refuge in a nearby store, but the protesters persisted. The store owner demanded compensation for the damages caused by the attackers.

Despite contacting the police, the victims claimed they received no assistance. They reported the police response as, "We are busy. Call us when you calm down."
