NBC News recently published an article titled “Biden disparages Netanyahu in private but hasn’t significantly changed U.S. policy toward Israel and Gaza.”

This report has garnered attention from various Israeli media outlets.

According to the authors Carol E. Lee, Jonathan Allen, Peter Nicholas, and Courtney Kube, President Joe Biden, in recent conversations, including those with campaign donors, has criticized Netanyahu as the primary obstacle to achieving a ceasefire in Gaza, expressing frustration with the Israeli Prime Minister's approach.

Sources reveal that Biden referred to Netanyahu as an "asshole" on multiple occasions during these discussions and also described him as a "pain in my ass" at one point.

However, a representative from the National Security Council under the U.S. President has emphasized that despite these remarks, Biden maintains respectful relations with Netanyahu.

Tensions between Biden and Netanyahu are further heightened by the necessity of conducting a significant military operation in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

This area is home to approximately one million refugees from northern and central Gaza, as well as a concentration of Hamas militants and other terrorist groups.

In light of these developments, NBC reports that administration officials are considering options for formally recognizing an "independent Palestinian state."

During a presidential campaign fundraiser, Biden openly expressed his disappointment with Netanyahu to donors. Nonetheless, he affirmed his commitment to Israel's security, labeling himself as a "Zionist" and reiterating the importance of dismantling Hamas and safeguarding Israel's interests.
