Mohammad Nazal, a member of Hamas, stated to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti that Hamas welcomes Russia's initiative to convene a meeting of Palestinian factions to address internal divisions.
This response follows a statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who proposed holding an inter-Palestinian meeting involving all major factions to resolve internal conflicts.
"We support any inter-Palestinian dialogue or meetings, provided they are conducted seriously and adhere to established protocols. We aim to avoid repeating past experiences of lengthy and fruitless discussions," Nazal informed the Russian agency, representing Hamas.
