Tribal clashes in Papua New Guinea leave over 60 dead
Dozens of men were fatally shot in an ambush amid tribal conflict in Enga province, near the town of Wabag in Papua New Guinea, approximately 600 kilometers from the capital, Port Moresby.
Police have confirmed the discovery of 64 bodies thus far.
The conflict, involving 17 tribes, stems from disputes over land distribution and illegal farming. Last year, a three-month curfew was imposed in the area.
