Yulia Navalnaya vows to carry on her husband's work
Yulia Navalnaya declared her commitment to continue the legacy of her late husband, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. She also pledged to disclose information about those accountable for his assassination.
"In memory of Alexei Navalny, I vow to carry on his mission. I urge you all to stand by my side as we fight for our country. Let us share not only our sorrow and enduring pain but also our righteous indignation," her statement read.
Yulia squarely blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for Alexei's death, stating, "Another person should be standing in my place, but that person was taken by Vladimir Putin. Putin robbed my children of their father. He took away the most precious part of my life."
The Russian opposition figure passed away on February 16 while serving time in Correctional Colony No. 3 in the remote village of Kharp in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Authorities have declined to release his remains to his family.
