Keshet-12's Dean Fisher reported an in-flight emergency aboard an El Al airliner traveling from Tel Aviv to Chisinau.
According to the report, a conflict arose between two passengers as the plane was preparing to land. Despite efforts by the crew to intervene, they were unable to pacify the aggressive passenger, prompting them to request police assistance upon landing.
Approximately two weeks ago, another incident unfolded on an El Al flight from Prague to Tel Aviv. During that flight, a passenger attempted to forcibly access the cockpit.
Fortunately, onboard security personnel successfully subdued the individual. The aircraft then conducted an emergency landing at Thessaloniki Airport in Greece.
Greek authorities took custody of the passenger, who is an Israeli citizen, and the Israeli General Security Service (Shin Bet) has since become involved in the investigation.
