Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Issa Zarepour, announced that Russia will launch an Iranian satellite into space, as reported by IRNA and Reuters.
Several weeks ago, Zarepour discussed Iran's intentions to utilize its satellite launch platforms to launch satellites for other countries within the next two years.
The minister emphasized that Iranian launch platforms possess the capability to launch artificial satellites weighing between 100 and 200 kg.
Additionally, Iran has a satellite launch station and ground stations equipped to receive satellite signals.
