On March 5, the highly anticipated "Super Tuesday" occurred across the United States, marking the simultaneous holding of internal party elections in 15 states.

Preliminary data indicates that former US President Donald Trump emerged victorious in the Republican elections across the majority of states.

He secured wins in Arkansas, Alabama, Maine, Oklahoma, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Colorado, and Texas.

His primary opponent, former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, claimed victory in Vermont.

As of the time of this publication, Trump has garnered 416 delegate votes, compared to Haley's 52.

To secure the Republican presidential nomination in the first round of voting at the party's national convention, set for July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a candidate must amass 1,215 delegate votes.
