Adam Sandler emerged as the highest-paid actor of 2023, according to Forbes magazine.

Sandler earned a total of $73 million over the year, with a significant portion of his earnings coming from projects commissioned by the streaming platform Netflix. These include the comedy films "Murder in Paris" and "Don’t Think About Coming to My Bat Mitzvah," as well as the animated film "Leo."

Additionally, Sandler's total income included a fee for his work in the film "Astronaut" by Johan Renck, which premiered on Netflix this week.

Taking second place in the Forbes ranking was Margot Robbie, the star of the movie "Barbie," with a total fee of $59 million.

Tom Cruise secured the third spot with $45 million, largely due to the release of the seventh installment of the Mission: Impossible spy franchise.

Following closely on the list were Ryan Gosling ($43 million), Matt Damon ($43 million), Jennifer Aniston ($42 million), Leonardo DiCaprio ($41 million), Jason Statham ($41 million), Ben Affleck ($38 million), and Denzel Washington ($24 million).
