Israeli 'Maccabi' fans assault man with Palestinian flag in Greece

The Kan-11 TV channel aired footage filmed on a mobile phone from the Greek city of Piraeus, where the Tel Aviv team Maccabi played against Olympiacos this evening.

The video showed a group of fans wearing Israeli team logos assaulting a young man, continuing to beat him even after he had fallen.

Israeli TV Channel 14, covering the incident, reported that the Israeli fans encountered antisemitism.

According to the channel's report, a local resident from the Iraqi community, upon realizing they were Israelis, provoked them by shouting slogans against Israel, displaying a Palestinian flag, and expressing support for Palestinian terrorists and Sinwar. The man ended the evening in the hospital.
