During a one-hour online call with invited international media on Wednesday, International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach stated that there are no doubts about Israel's participation in the Paris Olympics.
"Since the heinous attack on the Israeli team (during the 1972 Munich Olympics), there were always special measures being taken with Israeli athletes," said Bach, implying that the security of the Israeli delegation will be ensured.
Around 80 Israeli athletes will participate in 15 sports at the Paris Olympics that open July 26.
