According to Reuters, US President Joe Biden will announce the construction of a seaport in the Gaza Strip during his address to the nation on March 7.

This seaport will facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid. A source within the White House administration stated that the construction will be undertaken by the US military "in conjunction with partners from other countries."

The port is intended to be temporary and aims to increase the flow of aid into the war-torn Palestinian enclave. The source emphasized that full coordination with Israel on security matters is expected.

Additionally, the president will address the delay in reaching an agreement for the release of Israeli hostages, attributing it to Hamas.
