The Upper Austrian Grand Prix judo tournament concluded in Linz, with Israeli athlete Lee Kochman (competing in the weight category up to 90 kg) securing the bronze medal.
Kochman defeated Slovenian Peter Zilka and American John Jayne to claim the bronze.
Although he lost to Cuban Ivan Felipe Silva Morales, the eventual tournament winner, in the quarterfinals, Kochman bounced back in the repechage round, defeating Brazilian Rafael Macedo.
He then secured third place by defeating Dominican Robert Florentino.
