Israeli handball team eliminated from World Cup qualifying tournament after loss to Slovaks
In the second stage of the World Handball Championship qualifying tournament, the Israelis were defeated 24-26 by the Slovaks in the return match.
In the initial match, the Slovaks emerged victorious with a score of 26-25.
As a result, the Slovakian national team has advanced to the third qualifying stage, where they will compete against Poland.
The Ukrainian team also fell short of reaching the decisive qualifying stage, losing both matches to the Estonians with scores of 29-32 and 33-41.
In the upcoming decisive qualifying stage, the Estonians will face off against the Icelanders.
