Trump predicts 'bloodbath' if he loses US election
Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, who has secured his position as the presumptive Republican nominee, said at a rally in Ohio that the USA will face a "bloodbath" if he is not elected in November.
Trump predicted the collapse of the US auto industry if the current Democratic president, Joe Biden, is re-elected. "The Chinese are building huge factories in Mexico, but we will not allow them to sell those cars in the US," Trump promised.
He once again claimed that the 2020 presidential elections were allegedly stolen from him and promised to help the participants of the January 6 United States Capitol attack upon his return to the White House. "They are patriots and hostages," the former president said.
Former US Vice President Mike Pence said he would not be backing Donald Trump in the 2024 election despite previously being one of Trump's most loyal defenders.
Joe Biden's campaign spokesperson, James Singer, said in a statement that Trump "wants another January 6."
"Trump is returning to the threat of violence. However, American people are going to give him another electoral defeat this November because they continue to reject his extremism, his affection for violence, and his thirst for revenge," Singer stated.
