According to aze.media, citing Israeli military expert Arie Egozi, the leadership of Azerbaijan has submitted a request to the Israeli Ministry of Defense to acquire Israeli military technology. Specifically, they are interested in acquiring two Ofek reconnaissance satellites renowned for their high resolution.
Additionally, officials in Baku are keen on acquiring LORA missiles, loitering munitions, and Barak-MX missiles designed for countering enemy aircraft, helicopters, drones, and missiles.
The report highlights Azerbaijan's recent expression of interest in procuring Israeli electronic warfare equipment and SpyX loitering munitions, which boast a range of 50 kilometers.
It's worth noting that Israel and Azerbaijan maintain close cooperation in the defense sector. Israeli weaponry played a significant role in the Second Karabakh War, culminating in Azerbaijan's victory.
