Russia observes national day of mourning after massacre in Moscow concert hall
Russia observes a national day of mourning on Sunday, March 24, after a terrorist attack in the Moscow Crocus City Hall.
According to the most recent official figures, 133 people, including three children, died as a result of the terrorist attack, and 152 people were injured, including four children. At least 16 people are in critical condition.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the total number of casualties and injured people is 285.
Russian authorities state that 11 individuals, including four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack, have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the attack.
Islamic State – Khorasan Province claimed responsibility for the attack.
