The Russian Federal Security Service has detained a former Israeli Defense Forces soldier in the Krasnodar region. The individual, identified as Yuval Lanzman, born in 1960, was arrested for allegedly planning to join the Ukrainian army.
According to a statement from the Russian security department, Yuval expressed intentions to participate in hostilities against the Russian Federation. Reports suggest that he held negative views towards the North Military District and Russian leadership policies. Allegedly, he reached out to banned terrorist groups, providing them with personal and autobiographical information to join and carry out combat missions against Russia.
Following his detainment, Yuval received an official warning and was subsequently deported to Israel.
