Biden’s top military adviser: 'IDF should not have withdrawn from northern Gaza'
Gen. C.Q. Brown, US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the principal military advisor to President Joe Biden, criticized the actions of the Israel Defense Forces in the Gaza Sector.
According to Brown, the IDF's withdrawal from the northern areas of the Gaza Strip after their initial clearance was a mistake.
"Not only do you have to actually go in and clear out whatever adversary you are up against, you have to go in, hold the territory, and then you’ve got to stabilize it," Brown said, noting that instead, the IDF left, allowing Hamas to return and undermine efforts to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza population.
