At least 23 people, including children, have died due to a tornado that hit the southern United States. The states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kentucky were affected, with wind speeds exceeding 124 miles per hour. Approximately 500,000 people are without power.

The tornado destroyed several trailer parks. In Oklahoma, a tent hosting a wedding ceremony with 150 guests was blown down, resulting in numerous injuries.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott reported over 100 injuries in his state alone. A state of emergency has been declared in 106 Texas counties. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has also declared a state of emergency in his state.
