Clashes near Israeli Embassy in Mexico City result in casualties
On May 28, clashes erupted between participants in an anti-Israel protest and police near the Israeli Embassy in Mexico City. According to Telediario, demonstrators threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the building.
The clashes resulted in casualties, including police officers and journalists.
Law enforcement agencies reported that about 80 people, mostly young women, participated in the protest. When the protesters attempted to break into the embassy, security guards and police responded with tear gas. This prompted the demonstrators to throw stones and bottles containing flammable liquid toward the embassy.
