Israeli defense firms have been excluded from the Eurosatory 2024 trade show near Paris, which is set to open on June 17.
The French government authorities made the decision, resulting in the absence of Israeli companies, which were initially scheduled to showcase their products. A total of 74 Israeli companies were expected to participate.
An anonymous source from a major French defense company told i24NEWS they are very disappointed with the situation. "There is a historic relationship of trust with our Israeli partners. This is not acceptable but the decision was taken by the French authorities."
This year, Eurosatory 2024 will feature 1,743 participants from 62 countries and is expected to attract over 62,000 visitors from 150 countries.
