South African International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor stated that states and politicians aiding the "Israeli military machine" could also be charged in international legal forums.

Pandor made the statement at the Cape Town mosque, where she donned a black and white checkered keffiyeh and stood in front of a Palestinian flag.

Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson had warned about the possibility of such charges.

"Speaker Johnson said that if the ICC is allowed to threaten Israel's leaders, then we know that America will be next. Our response is: Of course!" Pandor said.

She also said that she wishes that she were shoulder to shoulder with the men and women in Rafah.
