Court permits Israeli participation in Paris Eurosatory Arms exhibition
The French Commercial District Court has overturned a previous ruling that barred Israeli representatives from participating in the Eurosatory 2024 arms show in Paris, set for June 17-20.
The urgent verdict is effective immediately, requiring all legal and security authorities to enforce it.
Pro-Palestinian groups initiated the ban, fearing Israeli participation could lead to international law violations by Israel's military and potential weapon purchases by Israeli attendees.
They criticized the French Ministry of Defense for restricting Israeli stands due to concerns about Israeli defense companies showcasing products through subsidiaries and affiliates on other companies' stands.
