Russian Presidential Advisor Yuri Ushakov announced on June 25 that the date for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's visit to Russia has been confirmed.
"The dates for the visit to Moscow have been agreed upon with him. I won't specify approximately, but there is an exact date," Ushakov told reporters in response to a question from Interfax.
Abbas's visit to Moscow, initially planned for 2023, was repeatedly postponed. Meanwhile, a Hamas delegation at the level of Deputy Foreign Minister was received in Moscow three times after the terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, 2023—in November, January, and June.
