German Foreign Ministry urges citizens to leave Lebanon
The German Foreign Ministry has called on its citizens to leave Lebanon. This warning followed Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock's visit to Israel and Lebanon.
In a statement, the ministry described the security situation in the region as "extremely unstable" and noted that the conflict in the border zone between Lebanon and Israel has escalated again, with further escalation possible.
A day earlier, the Canadian Foreign Ministry issued a similar warning, advising Canadians to leave Lebanon "while they can" using commercial airlines.
