Massive missile strike on Ukraine: Casualties in Kyiv Children's Hospital
The Russian army launched a massive missile strike on Ukraine on July 8, Ukrainian officials report. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, around 40 missiles were fired. The cities targeted included Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk.
Among the hit targets was the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in the Ukrainian capital. Debris clearance has begun, with people trapped under the rubble, and patients are being evacuated to other medical facilities. Initial reports indicate fatalities in the Hospital.
In Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi district, a residential building was destroyed. In Kryvyi Rih, multiple hits were reported, one of which struck an industrial enterprise. The attacks have resulted in 10 deaths and 31 injuries.
